Mumbai, July 30 (ANI): Music album of the forthcoming Bollywood film 'Fast Forward' was unveiled in Mumbai.
'Fast forward' is being claimed as India's first full-fledged and hardcore dance-based movie, produced by Anjum Rizvi.
Rizvi's much acclaimed film, 'A Wednesday' won many awards after the film was critically acclaimed and became hugely popular with the multiplex movie buffs.
Debutant director Zaigham Ali Sayed, who has lent his skills for the film, feels that the genre of dance has not been discovered in Bollywood films till now.
"Nobody has done a dance film. The last dance film, which I can think of, may be is 'Disco Dancer', which had a little bit of dancing. There was a huge gap. This genre has not been exploited at all and since I was doing my first film, I wanted to make a different kind of film," said Sayed.
Present on the occasion was the team of vibrant and fresh youngsters like Akshay Kapoor, Bhavna Pani, Rehan Khan, Sabina Sheema and Siddhanth Karnick.
Everyone shared his or her wonderful working experience in front of the camera during the conference.
"This film is a rags-to-riches story. It is the story of a guy who believes in his dreams. He knows that his dreams will come true one day only if he struggles hard as there is no other way. He has no money but only has a good friend and a sister to support him and that is enough for him," said Rehan Khan, actor in the film.
This movie is a musical romantic venture with dance as the central theme of the story.t offers some sweltering Latin-American forms like the Salsa, the Cha Cha, the Rumba and the Samba.
The film is slated for release on August 21.(ANI)
