New Delhi, Jul 30: Not happy with the Prime Minister's and government's answers on the Indo-Pak Joint statement, the BJP, along with its NDA partners and SP staged a walk out in the Lok Sabha On Thursday, Jul 30.
The Opposition leaders who have been questioning the joint statement and particularly the inclusion of Balochistan in the statement have been questioning the government over the move since the NAM summit where Dr Singh and his Pakistan counterpart, Yousuf Raza Gilani meet.
After Pranab Mukherjee backed the Prime Minister on the statement, SM Krishna told the house that India has nothing to hide on the joint statement.
Opposition leader, LK Advani continually asked why Balochistan was mention in the joint statement between India and Pakistan. Advani alleged that there was a delinking of terror from composite dialogue between the nations.
After the leaders wrangled over the issue for several minutes, Advani said it was 'meaningless to continue' and led the opposition out of the house.
