DYFI opposes govt move on cow slaughter ban
Bangalore, Jul 30: The Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) on Thursday, Jul 30 has opposed the state government's move on cow slaughter ban.
The DYFI urged the government to drop its plan and called it as an assault on the 'right of food' of Dalit and minorities
DYFI state committee president NL Bharatraj said, "It was undemocratic to impose a ban as over 40 pc of population, which include backward classes and minorities, ate beef."
DYFI also warned state-wide agitation if cow slaughter was banned.
