Redmond, Jul 29: The deal that left Yahoo and Microsoft wrangling for over a year now has been finally sealed. The two companies have formally announced that they have reached an agreement, which promises better internet search experience for both the users and the advertisers.
As per the deal, Microsoft will now power the Yahoo search and Yahoo will become the exclusive worldwide relationship sales force for both companies' premium search advertisers.
The deal will bring together both the companies' complimentary strengths. Coming together this way, Yahoo and Microsoft is bound to fuel sustained development in search and search advertising.
