Maulana Fazlullah is alive, not hurt: Taliban

Islamabad, Jul 24: Dismissing the military claims that Taliban chief was critically wounded, Pakistan Taliban asserted Fazlullah was healthy and unhurt in the army operations in Swat Valley.

The Taliban's response came after military gave a statement that they had 'credible' information about Maulana Fazlullah being injured in the offensive against militants in the region.

Even, Interior Minister Rehman Malik had also claimed that Fazlullah, a key aide of Taliban commander and Pakistan's most wanted terrorist Baitullah Mehsud, had been seriously injured.

However Taliban spokesman Muslim Khan said, "Fazlullah is alive, healthy and has never been wounded."
