A tiger returns home after four months of treatment

Sunderbans(West Bengal), July 23(ANI): A 12 year-old male tiger returned to his familiar territory of the Sunderban Tiger Reserve in West Bengal on Wednesday after four months of treatment in captivity.

The tiger had wounded his right hind leg in March this year.

It was shifted to Alipore Zoo in Kolkata for its treatment.

Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Atanu Raha said the tiger was returned to its territory after a study of the area. (ANI)
