New Delhi, Jul 18: Pakistan, for the first time has admitted that Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) carried out the 26/11 Mumbai Terror Attacks in 2008. According to a media report, the country has handed over a dossier which names Lashkar operations chief Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi as the mastermind behind the attacks.

A TV news channel, Times Now revealed that the 36 page dossier also admits that the terrorist detained in India in relation to the attacks, Azam Amir Kasav is a Pakistan national, along with few others.

The report also gives details on Zarar Shah, who has been identified as the person in-charge of the communications, along with other accused including that of Kasav.

The dossier is now being perceived as the reason behind India's move towards Pakistan at the NAM summit in Sharm-el-Sheikh, Egypt. Since the dossier is the gesture that shows that Pakistan is ready to cooperate with India on terrorism, the joint statement was formulated.
