Tehran, Jul 15: Latest media reports have confirmed that there were 169 passengers on the Iranian Tupolev passenger aircraft and they are all feared dead.
The first visuals of the plane crash site shows a huge crater created due to the crash revealing that the plane just rammed on to the ground.
The aircraft was on its way from Tehran to Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. The crash took place about 16 minutes after the take off near Qazvin.
Iran: Plane crashes, 150 passengers feared dead
According to media reports, a Tupolev passenger aircraft has crashed into a northwestern Iran on Wednesday, Jul 15.
According to IRNA news agency report, all the passengers who were onboard are feared to be dead.
Quoting a fire brigade official, the report said that there is no clear data revealing the number of people who were onboard.
However, according to other reports, there were 150 passengers onboard and all are feared dead.
