Ferguson accuses Tevez of betraying Man U

By Super Admin

London, July 14 (ANI): Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has accused Carlos Tevez of betraying Manchester United by indulging in a deal with Manchester City in January.

The Argentine footballer has signed a five-year contract with City to complete a 26.5 million pounds move, after his loan contract with Manchester United expired.

Fergie said that he made numerous efforts to get the 25 year-old to stay back.

"I think they did the deal around January because I spoke to him and gave him an offer on the Inter Milan night and he never came back to me," Fergie said.

"I phoned him on holiday - he never came back to me. I texted him twice - he never got back. Obviously he had made his mind up," he added. (ANI)
