London, July 13 (ANI): Supermarket chain Asda is set to rake in moolah, as its version of Balmain dress worn by supermodel Kate Moss goes on sale.
The George at Asda silver mini-dress has exaggerated shoulder pads, and comes with a price tag of 16 pounds.
The supermarket bosses hope that the limited edition dress will be best-selling dress, and expect "cat fights in the aisles".
"At a time of recession when people are finding it hard, we are seeing that people are looking back to the 80s when fashion was fun, loud and over the top," the Telegraph quoted Fiona Lambert, George brand director, as saying.
"The exaggerated boulder shoulder is the statement of the season. It's all about super power dressing and OTT glamour," she added.
Moss was spotted wearing Balmain Autumn/Winter 2009 dress in April. (ANI)
