New Delhi, Jul 8: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, LK Advani on Tuesday, Jul 7 came out with a list which says do's and don'ts for newly elected MPs to ensure that BJP party presents as a united front.
BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said, "After the Lok Sabha elections, some leaders in the party have been giving random statements to the media. This portrays a wrong image of the party and spoils the reputation of some leaders. Therefore, to control this, Advani ji has come out with some suggestions."
Later, on Tuesday, Jul 7 Advani met newly elected MPs in parliament and recommended that they should stay out of corporate wars and not ask questions in the house on behalf of lobbyists.
Advani has advised them to check every document before they sign and asking them to be careful as these were critical times when individual parties were looking for opportunities to 'show each other down'.
Further he said, "The MPs should thoroughly check the background of private secretaries before hiring them."
