SC defers RIL-RNRL gas dispute case to Jul 20
New Delhi, Jul 7: The Supreme Court of India deferred the RIL-RNRL gas supply dispute case to Jul 20 on Tuesday, Jul 7.
The case comprises of the cross appeals from Mukesh Ambani-run Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), Anil Ambani-run Reliance Natural Resources Ltd (RNRL), and the government. Bench headed by Chief Justice KG Balakrishnan issued notice to the three sides posting the matter for hearing on Jul 20.
Earlier, RIL went to the apex court challenging the Bombay High Court order to supply 28 mmscmd of gas to RNRL at USD 2.34 per mmbtu arguing that the High court had make mistakes in the areas of quantity, tenure and price of gas supply.
RNRL too moved the Supreme court challenging the order of the Bombay High Court.
