IBM secures 251.7 mn dollar deal with Carrefour
New York, Jul 7: IBM Corp has bagged a 251.7 mn dollar deal with the French retailer, Carrefour SA.
With the five year agreement IBM will be improving and maintaining the information technology infrastructure of the second largest international retailer.
According to IBM this agreement will allow the retailer to control costs and improve IT security, among other benefits.
According to media reports, IBM will host all of Carrefour France's computer infrastructure at its first green European data centre in Montpellier.
