Yemeni jet crash: Black box & a survivor found

Moroni, Jul 1: The flight recorder or the 'black box' of the Yemen airliner which crashed in the Indian ocean on Tuesday, Jun 30 has been reportedly found; along with a miraculous teenage survivor.

The recorders were located by an aerial patrol about 40km from Grande Comore. The black box which is generally orange in color holds information that will help the authorities understand the reason behind the crash.

Second survivor emerged from the deadly crash that got the world to believe that all the 150 on board were dead. Bahia Bakari, a 13-year-old French teenager escaped with just some cuts and fractures and is recovering in a hospital right now.

Media reports also state that a compensation of 20,000 euros ($28,140) will be given to the families of the victims.
