Yemen plane crash: Baby rescued alive
Moroni, Jun 30:A police official on Tuesday, Jun 30 said that a child has been rescued alive from Indian Ocean in the Yemen Airline which crash off into the sea.
Immigration officer, Rachida Abdullah said " a toddler was rescued from the crash site Tuesday." She also said the rescue and search operations is going on since 04:00 am, Tuesday, Jun 30.
The airline's website also gave two emergency contact numbers +967-1250-800 and +967-1250-833.
Yemen airliner crashes, all passengers feared dead
Even as the world tries to come to terms with the crash of Air France flight 447, yet another plane crash has been reported. A Yemen Airline carrying about 150 passengers reportedly crashed in the Indian Ocean in the early hours of Tuesday, Jun 30.
According to a news agency report, a senior government official has confirmed that the airline crashed in the Indian Ocean archipelago of Comoros.
"We don't know if there are any survivors among the 150 people on the plane," Comoros Vice-President Idi Nadhoim was quoted as saying.
The exact crash site and other details are still unknown.
