JK: Soldier killed in firing near LOC
Jammu, Jun 29: Army officials on Monday, Jun 29 said that a soldier was killed while crossing across the Line of Control (LOC) by a group of Pakistani militants in Poonch of Jammu Kashmir.
On Sunday, Jun 28, Mohinder Singh fell to a bullet fired from across the Line of Control (LOC) while another soldier had a narrow escape.
An official said, "In case the firing was from the Pakistani army then it can be termed as ceasefire violation." He also said that if the case is confirmed, it would be the third case of ceasefire violation by Pakistan in this sector this year.
