Qureshi describes meeting with Krishna as 'positive'
Islamabad, June 27 (ANI): Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has termed his meeting with his Indian counterpart SM Krishna in Italy as a positive development, in which he called for constructive engagement and sustained dialogue to address common challenges.
The Daily Times quoted Qureshi, as saying that through constructive engagement both countries could address common challenges and resolve outstanding issues.
He also expressed the need for a dialogue to resolve outstanding issues like problems of water, regional and global terrorism and the Kashmir dispute.
He assured that India that Pakistan would proceed in accordance with its laws to expedite action against the Mumbai attack accused.
It was decided that a schedule for a meeting of foreign secretaries of the two countries would be announced soon. (ANI)
