India: 5 more Swine flu cases, total up to 68

New Delhi, Jun 24: With five more cases of H1N1 Influenza being reported from India, the total number of cases in the country has reached a high of 68.

Delhi reported another case of human to human transfer of the Swine flu or H1N1 Influenza with a 15 year old boy infected from a relative who was earlier detected with the influenza.

"Five new cases have been reported on Tuesday. Three are from Delhi and one each from Bangalore and Hyderabad," said a Health Ministry statement.

The health ministry also added that out of the 68 cases, 41 have been cured and discharged. The rest of them remaining in an identified health facility. The statement informed that at least 504 people have been tested, of whom 68 had the H1N1 virus.

The 64-year-old woman from Delhi who was in a serious condition has shown some signs of recovery and is now stable.
