China launches anti-corruption hotline and website
Beijing, Jun 22: China's procuratorates have opened a unitary 24-hour hotline for informants on the eve of the 11th publicity week for seeking information from the public, which has been sponsored by the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP).
The hotline will start on Monday, Jun 22 the first day of the weeklong campaign to increase the awareness about ways and importance of giving tips to prosecutors to expose job-related crimes and corruption among government officials.
The SPP will also open a new website, www.12309.gov.cn for informants, a media report claimed.
