'Housemaid was in love with Shiney Ahuja'

Mumbai, Jun 19: In a new revelation, a maid who formerly worked in Shiney Ahuja's house claimed that the girl who has accused the Bollywood actor of raping her was actually in love with him.

The housemaid said that the victim had a boyfriend earlier, who had gone to his village and married someone else. She later said to that she had fell in love with Shiney Ahuja. "I said why are you talking like this? Does he love you too? She said I just love him, what do I do now?", said Shiney's former maid. She made this revelation in an interview with a private TV channel.

"Main bhi itney din se bhaiya (Shiney Ahuja) ko jaanti hun woh aisa nahin kar sakte (I had worked for Shiney Ahuja for a long time and I know that he can't do something like this)", she added. The actor's lawyers said that the former maid's testimony could help in getting bail for Shiney Ahuja.

However, the 18-year-old victim's family appeared not happy with the new story. "I want Shiney to be jailed. I am satisfied with the way the police have been handling the case," said the father of the girl who was allegedly raped by the actor.
