Rio does a Ronaldo by wearing hot pants, cropped top

London, June 17 (ANI): It seems that Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand is preparing to step into Cristiano Ronaldo's boots, as the Portuguese striker and his teammate is leaving his club.

Ferdinand is taking style tips from his teammate, who is moving to Real Madrid for a world record 80 million pounds.

Looking far from masculine, the 30-year-old England defender showed off his athletic physique in a tiny pair of denim hot pants and bizarre red and yellow-cropped t-shirt, the Daily Mail reports.

Trotting round his Tel Aviv hotel pool in tiny denim shorts and a multi-coloured crop top is a fashion crime of the highest magnitude. It's a get-up camp Austrian fashionista Bruno might happily sport.

With just two months to go before the former West Ham and Leeds star marries long-term love Rebecca Ellison, perhaps Rio's outfit is simply a bit of stag-themed fun.

Rio regularly holidays in Israel and is currently learning the speak Hebrew after being introduced to the country by his Israeli agent, Pini Zahavi. He is planning to wed fiancée Rebecca at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire in August.

The couple were originally set to wed last year, but postponed it after Rebecca got pregnant with their second child Tate, now 10 months. Rio proposed to his girlfriend of seven years in 2007 while they were holidaying in Las Vegas. The couple also have a three-year-old son Lorenz. (ANI)
