Pak intelligence warns of attack on Parliament lodges, prisons
Lahore, June 15 (ANI): Pakistan intelligence agencies have warned that militants are planning to carry out attacks on members of parliament residing in Parliament lodges, and are also trying to supply hand grenades to their jailed compatriots.
Taking note of the warning, the Interior Ministry's National Crisis Management Cell (NCMC) has issued a circular to all provincial home departments to beef up security and ensure the safety and security of all parliamentarians.
According to the Daily Times, the circular stated that terrorists are planning to target Senator Abdul Malik and National Assembly member Noorul Haq Qadri in particular. (ANI)
