Nepal's Oli in Delhi to meet Indian leadership
New Delhi, June 14 (ANI): CPN (UML) leader K.P Sharma Oli has arrived here to meet with leaders of the UPA Government.
Prior to his departure from Kathmandu, Oli had a meeting with Nepali Congress president Girija Prasad Koirala and Rastriya Janashakti Party (RJP) chairman Surya Bahadur Thapa on Saturday.
Both the meetings dwelled on the issue of the future of General Rookmangud Katawal, Nepal's Chief of Army Staff and ways to keep the new ruling coalition intact.
NC leader and former Nepal Home Minister Krishna Sitaula was also present at the meeting.
Oli is one of the main architects of the new coalition, is known to have stressed that General Katawal should be allowed to serve his full term.
After his meeting with Koirala, Oli also met RJP chairman Thapa, discussing the current coalition's sustainability. (ANI)
