Ranchi, Jun 14: Yashwant Sinha, the senior BJP leader, who on Saturday, Jun 13 quit as party Vice President said that he was 'happy' that his resignation has been accepted, but maintained that he will remain in the party.
Sinha earlier attacked the party leadership for not taking the responsibility for the electoral failure. "I had sent my resignation to be accepted. Therefore I'm happy that my resignation has been accepted and I have no further comments to make," the former External Affairs and Finance Minister said when his reaction was sought over the issue.
"Of course, I'm in the party. I will be in the party," said Sinha. The senior BJP leader was also said to be upset with Arun Jaitley, the BJP election strategist being made the Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha.
