New Delhi, Jun 13: Just a few minutes before Rajnath Singh was scheduled to address the media, senior leader of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Yashwant Sinha reportedly resigned from all the party posts that he held.

Apart from giving up his post as the Vice President of the party, Sinha said that he has resigned from being in-charge of Karnataka affairs and as head of the Foreign Affairs Cell of BJP.

While addressing the media, Rajnath Singh said “I am yet to receive the resignation letter. When I get it I will read it."

The news that there was trouble brewing in the party following the debacle in the Lok Sabha polls was doing the rounds for some time now. Media reports suggested that the blame game among the party members got uglier by the hour and there was a disarray among the leaders of the party.

Rajnath Singh said that even though the results in the Lok Sabha Polls were against the expectations of the party, there was 'no disunity in the BJP'. And he claimed that news that BJP was falling apart were just speculations of the media.
