London, June 13 (ANI): Bayern Munich have told Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson that he must 'go crazy' to sign Franck Ribery.
The German giants have slapped a 90 million pounds price tag on their star winger, who is a potential replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United.
Bayern general manager Uli Hoeness said: "We would only talk on very strict conditions - and that would be if they were prepared to do crazy things."nited boss Ferguson has been a huge admirer of French ace Ribery, 26, for years, and he is said to be considering a bid following Ronaldo's 80 million pounds sale to Real Madrid.
Ironically, the Spanish giants are the favourites to get Ribery whose agent Alain Migliaccio also represents former Bernabeu hero Zinedine Zidane.
The French legend is acting as Real Madrid president Florentino Perez's right-hand man and was reported to be in Munich this week. (ANI)
