One more eyewitness identified by Kasab
Mumbai, June 12 (ANI): Head Constable of the Railway Protection Force Jhillu Yadav deposed against Mohammed Ajmal Kasab, the lone surviving terrorist of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks.
Chief public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam said that Yadav had informed the court as to how he had fought the militants who were armed with sophisticated weapons.
"Yadav told the court that he saw two militants firing indiscriminately and exploding bombs at CST station. He did not have a rifle and asked his colleague to fire. But the gun did not work, and then Yadav went to the other person and took the rifle and tried to fire. There was a misfire. He then threw a plastic chair at the attacking militants. Soon, the militants then left the station," said Nikam.
Over 50 persons were killed and close to 90 injured when Kasab and Ismail allegedly started firing indiscriminately at the Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus on the night of November 26, 2008. (ANI)
