Washington, June 12 (ANI): Barack Obama wrote an unusual get-out-of-class-free note for a girl whose father had taken her to the U.S. President's town hall.
The father of the girl told the President that he had taken his daughter out of her last day of school to be there.
"Oh no. Do you need me to write a note?" the Politico quoted Obama as saying.
"I'll take you up on that, actually, Mr. President," the man replied.
When the man revealed his name to Obama, the latter clarified: "No, her."
The man though that Obama was joking, and continued to ask his question.
"No, no, I'm serious," Obama interrupted.
That prompted the questioner to give his daughter's name: "Kennedy."
"Kennedy. All right - that's a cool name. I'm gonna write to Kennedy's teacher," Obama said, scrawling a note on the podium as the questioner proceeded.
The president then walked down and gave the most unusual note to the beaming girl, before answering her father. (ANI)
