RAW's involvement in terror activities in Pak only random inferences : Qureshi
Islamabad, June 11 (ANI): Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has admitted that speculations about involvement of Indian Intelligence agency, the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) in terrorism inside Pakistan were only random inferences.
Talking to media persons at the Multan airport, Qureshi said there are several 'hidden forces' behind the persistent pandemonium in Pakistan.
Qureshi also urged India to resume the stalled peace talks as soon as possible.
"Pakistan is more desirous of dialogue as it cherishes peace that could not be brought about without parleys with its neighbours," The Daily Times quoted Qureshi, as saying.
Commenting on the Swat offensive against the Taliban and other extremists, he said the military's operation enjoyed the full support of the people.
"No operation can succeed without public support. This support is being enjoyed by the army and law-enforcement agencies," he added.
Qureshi said the international community was satisfied with the ongoing military offensive, and has assured all help to Pakistan in its war against the Taliban in Malakand Division. (ANI)
