Obamas see West End performance of Lion King to celebrate Sasha's 8th birthday
Washington, June 11 (ANI): U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama celebrated her daughter Sasha's 8th birthday by taking her family to see the West End performance of Disney's The Lion King on Tuesday.
Sasha's birthday was on Wednesday.
It was part of their private visit to London that Michelle, Sasha, and Malia went to see The Lion King.
The First Family have thus far visited the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, the Harry Potter film set, and a traditional British pub, where they enjoyed fish and chips.
"It was a quiet night - everyone was so surprised," Us magazine quoted waitress Cinthia Pinto, 24, who served the group on June 8, as saying.
"There was no fanfare or hoopla. We knew there was a special booking (for a private table of 15), but I had no idea who it would be," she added.
The waitress revealed that Michelle made the nervous staff feel at ease, and even apologized for causing any trouble.
She revealed that was looking forward to some famous English food. (ANI)
