Indore, June 11 (ANI): Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama has asked Indian management students to use non-violence as a tool in their work.

Speaking on 'Compassion and non-violence' at a function at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) here, the Dalai Lama described India as the cradle of religious pluralism.

The Dalai Lama said that he saw greater potential to make this a peaceful century or compassion century for more than 2000 years. India has displayed concern for non-violence and religious pluralism.

Ever since the Dalai Lama and his followers fled from Tibet in 1959, they have found a new haven to preserve their unique faith, culture and identity at Dharamsala, which in turn has earned itself the name "Little Tibet".

In March, Tibet's self-exiled spiritual leader did lament that Tibet from where he fled 50 years ago had become a "hell on earth" on account of repressive rule by Beijing. (ANI)
