CBI may conduct scientific tests on Padamsinh Patil
Mumbai, June 11(ANI): The Central Bureau of Investigation on Thursday said it is considering conducting brain mapping and other tests on senior NCP leader Padamsinh Patil as he is not cooperating with investigators on the Congress leader Pawanraje Nimbalkar murder case.
Patil, who is in CBI custody till June 14, is being interrogated for his alleged role in Nimbalkar's murder in June 2006.
Patil has been booked on charges of conspiracy and murder. He was arrested on Sunday based on the statements of co-accused Jain and Mohan Shukla who said Patil had paid them a supari (contract) of Rs 30 lakh to eliminate Nimbalkar.
The CBI has also arrested four persons - Mohan Shukla, Satish Mandade, Parasmal Jain and Dinesh Tiwari in connection with the case.(ANI)
