Wreckage of AN-32 found in Arunachal Pradesh
Shillong, Jun 10: The wreckage of the IAF plane AN-32 aircraft that went missing in Arunachal Pradesh has been reportedly found.
The wreckage was found about 30 km from Mechuka in Arunachal Pradesh. The bodies of 14 passengers who were on board have have been recovered. As per media reports, out of the 14, five were airforce officers and six of them were army men. The names and ranks of the passengers have not been disclosed by the authorities yet.
The Indian Air Force began its search operations in the morning to find what was known as a 'safe' plane AN-32 on Wednesday, Jun 10 morning. The Russian-buil 'reliable' plane took off from Mechuka and went missing on Tuesday, Jun 9 evening over the mountains of Arunachal Pradesh.
