26/11 Trial: 10-yr-old girl identifies Kasav
Mumbai, Jun 10: A 10 year-old girl, who suffered bullet injuries during the 26/11 terror attack at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST), identified Mohammed Ajmal Kasav as the gunman in court on Wednesday, Jun 10.
The prosecution examined the first eyewitnesses to the firing at the CST and four eyewitnesses were to be examined.
The prosecution has completed the examination of witnesses in the Girgaum shootout, in which policeman Tukaram Ombale was killed.
Special Public Prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam said, "After we began the trial on May 8 we have so far examined 48 witnesses in both these cases despite the defence not admitting formal documents and attempting to delay the trial by arguing that Kasav is a juvenile."
