Dungeon victim Elisabeth Fritzl quits therapy for love
London, June 9 (ANI): Austrian dungeon victim Elisabeth Fritzl's doctors have revealed that she has quit therapy after finding love with her bodyguard.
Elisabeth, 43, had been held captive by her dad Josef in an underground cellar, where he raped her for 24 long years and fathered seven children on her.
And now, the incest victim has said that her minder, known only as Thomas W, has helped her confront the trauma caused by her ordeal as a sex slave.
Thomas, 29, is living with her and six of her incest children in a small Austrian village.
Elisabeth was diagnosed with chronic post-traumatic stress disorder after being rescued last April.
However, doctors have said that she has moved on dramatically since starting the relationship with Thomas, and have blessed her for quitting therapy.
"This is vivid proof of the power of love being the strongest force in the world," British tabloid The Sun quoted one carer as saying.
Elisabeth's 74-year-old father was given life sentence in March for rape, incest, murder, and slavery. (ANI)
