Washington, Jun 7: United States police said that they are waiting for the autopsy report of Rajeev Motwani, the Google mentor and Indian professor at Stanford University to start the investigation. Motwani died on Friday, Jun 5 reportedly after fall to the swimming pool in his house.

A Silicon Valley news outlet quoted Tim Lynch, the Atherton, California police Sgt. saying, "We're kind of in limbo. It could have been a simple accident or many other things." He added that the investigators with the San Mateo County coroner's office had not reported back to the police by Sunday, Jun 7.

He added that the police received an emergency call on Friday, Jun 5 morning about an apparent drowing in the backyard poll of Motwani's house on Atherton Avenue. The firefighters and police pulled Motwani's body from the bottom of the poll. Rajeev Motwani's friends said that he did not know swimming, but was planning to take lessons.
