N Korea jails US journalists for 12 years
Seoul, Jun 8: South Korea media reported that North Korea's top court has sentenced two US journalists, Laura Ling and Euna Lee for 12 years in labour prison on Monday, Jun 8.
The media also said that the court found the two US journalist guilty of committing an unspecified 'grave crime' and illegally crossing into North Korea.
The court which heard the two journalists from Jun 4 to 8 said, "sentenced each of them to 12 years of reform through labor."
The two US Journalists cannot appeal again as they were heard in North Korea's highest court where decisions are said to be final.
