Noida, Jun 7: Uttar Pradesh Police seized heroin worth millions in Noida on Saturday, Jun 6. Four persons identified as Manoj, Santosh, Raju and Sanjay were arrested with half-a- kilogram of heroin in their possession.
Kuldeep Singh, circle officer, Noida, said interrogations were on to get to the bottom of drug racket. "We are interrogating the four accused and will get the details from them after interrogation and will develop the case further," Singh said.
Manoj, one of the accused, said they were just carriers and were to deliver the consignment to person named Mishraji. "We had got it from Chandosi and we are going to deliver to Mishraji. He stays in Ghaziabad and we haven't seen his house," said Manoj.
The value of half-a-kilogram of heroin in the domestic market is currently ten million rupees.
