FIR against 'Godman' Jadeja in UP
Lucknow, Jun 7: Uttar Pradesh police said on Sunday, Jun 7 that it will seek custody of the inter-state Godman Ashok Jadeja based on the FIR lodged against him for duping tribals in Mathura district. A case was lodged against Jadeja and nine others, including his wife Neetu, on Saturday, Jun 6 for duping 22 members of Bhaatu and Sansi tribes in Mathura district.
Brij Lal, the Additional Director General of Police said that a warrant is being issued and will be served on Jadeja, who is currently lodged in Ahmedabad jail. Ashok Jadeja duped many people by posing as a Godman. Police nabbed him on Jun 3. Earlier CID received a CD in which Jadeja was seen dancing with bar girls, showering currencies on them.
