Lucknow, May 22: BJP's new poster boy Varun Gandhi is again in news. This time no hate speech, but for misbehaviour with journalists.
On Thursday, May 21 a group of Uttar Pradesh scribes alleged Varun Gandhi, the BJP MP from Pilibhit of 'misbehaviour' and sought security from the Pilibhit district administration while covering his programmes. "We have asked the district administration to provide security to media persons during programmes of Varun Gandhi," president of Pilibhit journalist association Mohan Kumar said.
Varun messed-up with some reporters on May 19, when they approached him for his comments over BJP's poor performance in the UP. "Varun got angry and he along with his security personnel even attacked journalists of some TV news channels. Varun also damaged the camera of a TV journalist," Kumar said.
