UPA cabinet, PM to bid farewell to 14th Lok Sabha

New Delhi, May 18: The cabinet of the 14th Lok Sabha will resign on Monday, May 18 in front of the Prime Minister marking the end of its tenure, as per the norms of the Indian Constitution.

The UPA cabinet members will bid their farewells to the 14th Lok Sabha only to walk back into the 15th Lok Sabha with some more names added to it.

The ministers are expected to meet Dr Manmohan Singh at his residence to submit their resignations.

Following this the Prime Minister submit the resignations along with his own to the president Pratibha Patil.
