26/11 Trial: 2nd witness identifies Kasav, AK-47
Mumbai, May 12: In the ongoing process of cross examination of the Mumbai terror attacks witnesses, the second witness on Tuesday, May 12 has identified prime accused Azam Amir Kasab along with the AK-47 he used.
The second witness, API Sanjay Govilkar after identifying the accused told the special court that Kasav fired at him and Assistant Police Inspector Tukaram Omble at Girgaum Chowpatty.
He informed the court that Omble fell to the bullets of the AK-47 while he sustained an injury in the waist. He further said that he and Omble had wrestled with the accused when he down from a Skoda car, stopped by the police at Girgaum Chowpatty.
On Monday, May 11 the first witness in the case, police sub-inspector Bhaskar Kadam identified Kasav and his AK-47 along with two other guns.
