Implying that his rival was a complicated person Lalu Prasad on Monday, May 11 at Patna airport before leaving for campaigning in Rampur in Uttar Pradesh said, "I always said Nitish has 'teeth in his stomach'. Now people like Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi, who had given him the secular certificate, and others who favourably spoke of him will realise how secular he is."
He further said that Nitish who had refused to share a stage with NDA in New Delhi on an election rally prior to the Bihar elections has now joined hands with NDA after the completion of polling in Bihar.
In an united rally of NDA that happen in Ludhiana on Sunday, May 10 Nitish Kumar joined hands with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led NDA.
For the past few days Nitish Kumar had emerged as the most wanted politician in the Lok Sabha Polls scenario with both Congress-led UPA and BJP-led NDA looking forward to his alliance.
