Flu: China confirms 1st case, US reports 3rd death

Beijing, May 11: The H1N1 influenza or Swine Flu has spread to China as per state media reports and United States has reported the third flu death as of Monday, May 11.

The thirty year old man, named as Mr Bao developed symptoms after his return from the U.S., China"s health ministry revealed. The Chinese authorities are searching for the 150 of those who took the same flight as the first confirmed case of flu.

The man has been Quarantined along with his father, girlfriend and others who have been in contact with him since the time he flew in.

The United States on Sunday, May 10 informed that a man with a heart condition who died in the US state of Washington was found to have the virus. While the number of swine flu cases have jumped to more than 4,300 across the world, 2,532 cases have been confirmed from 44 states of US.
