Nigella Lawson turned down spy offer
London, May 7 (ANI): A new book has revealed that sexy TV chef Nigella Lawson rejected the chance to be a spy.
According to author Gordon Thomas, student Nigella, 49, was "approached" to join MI5 at Oxford in the early 1980s, reports The Daily Star.
However, the cook was given advice by her father Nigel, the then-Chancellor of the Exchequer, to "steer clear of the intelligence people".
Thomas said: "Instead, she found fame as a TV chef." (ANI)
