New Delhi, May 4 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party Prime Ministerial candidate L K Advani has said the general polls are an opportunity for voters to analyse the performance of the previous BJP-led government with the present Congress party-led regime before taking a decision.
"I don't say anything else to the people except that this is the best time to judge the performances of the two governments and then decide," said Advani at an election rally for Jagdish Mukhi, a BJP candidate contesting from West Delhi parliamentary seat, which goes to polls in the fourth phase on May 7.
Seven seats of the national capital are expected to witness a contest between the Congress and the BJP.
Advani also criticised the Central Government on not raising the issue of atrocities on Sikhs in Pakistan.
"If any body behaves with the Sikhs, the way Taliban is behaving in Pakistan, will you silently watch like this government?, asked Advani.
The Taliban demolished at least 11 houses belonging to the Sikh community on Thursday in the Orakzai Agency of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) in Pakistan after they refused to pay 'Jazia'.
Jazia is a tax imposed on non-Muslims for their protection. (ANI)
