Vancouver, May 3: Two Indo-Canadian teenagers were allegedly killed in gang-style violence at Abbotsford on Friday, May 1. Abbotsford is known to be the home to one of the largest Punjabi communities in Canada.
Joseph Randay and Dilsher Gill, both 18, were reportedly kidnapped at gun-point from a city park at dinner time Thursday, Apr 30 according to reports. Their bodies were discovered inside the abandoned car on a rural road Friday, May 1. Both the teenagers were grade 12 students at the local W J Mouat Secondary School.
Abbotsford is also known as the theft capital of Canada because of its high crime rate. Shooting incident between gangs had so far claimed more than 110 lives of Indo-Canadian youth since the mid-1990s.
