Cut in ATF prices by Rs 331 per kilolitre

New Delhi, Apr 30: Air Turbine Fuel (ATF) prices were marginally reduced by about 1 pc in tandem with the international rates, after three consecutive hikes on Thursday, Apr 30.

Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) officials said that Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum slashed ATF price by Rs 311 per kilolitre n Delhi to Rs 31,615 per kl with effect from midnight. The three major firms of India, which revise the jet fuel rates every 14 days based on the trends in international markets, had on Apr 16 hiked ATF rates by about 6.7 pc.

In Mumbai, the rates will drop from Rs 32, 854.9 per kl to RS 32, 530 per kl. The rates of ATF varied from airport to airport based on the local taxes and levies and on average worker out to Rs 331 per kilo litre.
