Having Elton John sing at wedding was surreal, says Andy Roddick

Washington, Apr 29 (ANI): Tennis ace Andy Roddick insists that having Elton John play at his wedding with model Brooklyn Decker was 'surreal'.

"It was great to have so many of our family and friends make the trip and share the occasion with us," People magazine quoted him as writing in his blog.

The 26-year-old Grand Slam champion said having the music legend on hand "was very, very surreal."

"It was beyond awesome of him to make time for us and needless to say it was beyond amazing," he added.

For Roddick and his Sports Illustrated model bride, being surrounded by some many loved ones was one of the best part of the day.

"It was probably the only time in our lives that we will have family, our best friends from home, and our professional worlds in the same place at the same time and it definitely all went too fast," he added. (ANI)
