Anil Ambani cancels contract with Airworks

Mumbai, Apr 29: Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (ADAG) cancelled its agreement with Air Works Engineering India, which had the maintenance contract for Anil Ambani's chopper Bell 412, after the recent sabotage attempt.

On Apr 23 the maintenance firm worker Bharat Borge discovered that the filler cap fitted on the combining gear box at the top of the helicopter did not appear to be fitted in a correct position. When opened Borge found mud and pebbles inside. Soon the incident was reported to higher authority and a police complaint was filed.

Bharat Borge, the technician who discovered the plot to sabotage Anil's chopper last Thursday was found dead on Tuesday, Apr 28 under mysterious circumstances. Police also discovered a note from his body. Air Works sent 52 employees on leave till the investigation in the case continues.
